When C.T. Ducote Sr. and his son Curry began roasting coffee in San Angelo, Texas along the banks of the Concho River in 1929, they discovered there was a great demand for their products. DeCoty Coffee Company has grown from these humble beginnings to what is now the most diversified independent coffee roaster in Texas.

Today, DeCoty Coffee Company imports green coffee, teas, spices and many other high quality ingredients from around the world. DeCoty, headquartered in San Angelo Texas, operates distribution/service centers located in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Corpus Christi, Lubbock and Odessa.

La Creme Coffee & Tea, purveyor of high quality specialty coffees and teas operates as a division of DeCoty Coffee Company in Dallas, Texas and serves the fine dining, hotel and coffee & tea house market segments. All La Creme coffees and the DeCoty Gourmet line of coffees are produced using small batch, artisanal roasting methods.

Diversification has been instrumental to the company's growth. Products are now shipped worldwide. In addition to coffee, teas and spices, DeCoty offers a variety of products and services. Both La Creme and DeCoty have private label and custom blending programs. DeCoty is certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture's GO TEXAN program and a member of the National Coffee Association, Specialty Coffee Association of America, National Restaurant Association and Texas Restaurant Association. Many DeCoty products are certified Kosher.
